Liberty Kitchen.

In the fall of 2012, I was commissioned to produce a 16 inch high by 50 foot long photograph that is a permanent installation at Liberty Kitchen—located at Studemont (Montrose) and 11th Street—in the Houston Heights. The piece runs through the back wall of the main dining room and is a compilation of photos taken from the middle of Montrose Boulevard facing north from every major intersection starting at the Mecom fountain in the museum district and ending well past Liberty Kitchen north of the 610 loop. Liberty Kitchen also purchased 25 images from another series in my portfolio titled 'Signs' and they reside in the smaller private dining area.

In the fall of 2013, I was again commissioned to produce a one-of-a-kind installation at their new location in River Oaks, Liberty Kitchen & Oysterette. For this project, Liberty Kitchen wanted a feeling of "grandma's kitchen" at each of their seven extra large booths.

Each booth now contains photos I made of each of the seven neighborhoods surrounding this restaurant location; there are more than two hundred unique photos in this collection. Liberty Kitchen & Oysterette purchased an additional 32 images from my 'Signs' series, printed in black and white, and they are also now part of the permanent installation.
